Raymond Warren, 85, passed away on January 17, 2022. He graduated from Central High School in 1954. He attended some classes at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Ray served with a wonderful company and people at Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company from the age of 19 to 63. He served his country proudly in the Air National Guard for 9 years. He achieved membership in the Fellowship in Life Office Management Association.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Warren, his parents, Hugh and Sophia Warren, sister and brother in law, Dorothy and George Taylor, brother and sister in law, Roy and Freda Warren, and brother, Jerry Warren.
Left behind to cherish Ray’s memory are his wife of 65 years, Gail Warren, daughter and son in law Maureen and Rusty Lowe, daughter in law Rosa Warren, grandchildren Haley and Chris Eby Lowe, Sophie and Andy Fortin, Savanna Warren, Rosario and Dylan Queen, great-grandsons Harrison Eby Lowe and Sylas Queen, brother Frank and Betty Warren, sister in law Lillian Warren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Ray’s life will be held this Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Moore officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Ray’s memory to Smith Chapel United Methodist Church or St. Elmo United Methodist Church.
