Richard Allen “Rick” Coffman, 63, of East Ridge passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked in Maintenance for Sonoco Products. A very intelligent individual, he was extremely witty. His children, grandchildren and music were his life. He was an avid golfer, loved animals and the ocean was his happy place.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Clarence Coffman, Sr. and Helen Coffman and two brothers, Jim Coffman and William Coffman.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Coffman; three daughters, Jamie (Rayvaughn) Jenkins, Kim Coffman (Steve) and Coral Sliger; one son, Joshua Coffman; eight grandchildren, Gabrielle, Blake, Paxton, Presley, Peyton, Anastasia, Addison and Zoey; six great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aubree, Ava, Riley, Kenzie and Kason; brother, Billy (Connie) Coffman; two sisters, Kathy (James) Burrows and Susan Lindsey; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM Sunday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
