He had been President and COO of Burtco and was currently working as a consultant with the Dixie Group. He was an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Carolyn Kokoszka; daughter, Jill Kokoszka; son Jeffrey (Jamie) Kokoszka; granddaughter, Kristi Capasso; brother, Bill (Helen) Kokoszka and sister, Geri (John) Mullen.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Bernice Kokoszka; daughter, Teresa (Chuck) Bledsoe; sons, Rob (Sandy) Kokoszka and Tony (Eileen) Capasso; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, Bella Kokoszka; one sister, Carol (Art) Finley; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 9, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mike Creson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with a prayer service at 8 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Building Fund.
