Robert Clyde Robinson, 92, went to be with the Lord January 29, 2021. Bob spent most of his life as a teacher and worked in both the City of Chattanooga school system at Kirkman and later retired from the Hamilton County school system from Tyner. He spent several years working at Chattanooga State Technical Community College. He was a World War II veteran and was part of the occupying forces of Japan. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, Clyde Madison Robinson, Sarah Lucile (Treon), brothers Jack Robinson and Don Robinson. Survived by his wife, Roberta Parsons Robinson, daughter Rebecca Robinson, brother Richard Robinson and his sister-in-law Betty Robinson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Chris Sheets officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11AM – 1 PM Wednesday at the church.
