Ruby Catherine Morton Hale, 98, of Chattanooga died Monday November 7, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband William Neal Hale, parents Will and Nancy Morton, granddaughter Shannon Hale, brothers Sherman and Gordon Morton, sisters Bonnie Belcher and Edna Mae Veal.
Survivors include sons Billy M. (Doris) Hale, and Ronald L (Linda) Hale; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
She is the oldest surviving member of Wauhatchie United Methodist Church.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 11:00 am at Wauhatchie United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens West. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home Tuesday from 4-8.
Memorial donations may be made to Wauhatchie United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
