Sara H Overby

Mrs. Overby was born in Dayton, TN to James and Lois Hall where she was raised and graduated from Rhea Central High School. She was the owner and operator of Riley Studio for 30 years with her former husband, Lavon Riley, in Athens, TN. She was also owner and operator of World Tours in Chattanooga and worked as the Production Manager at Graphic Impressions in Chattanooga. She was a member of Glendale Church of Christ in Bryant, Alabama and past president of Pilot International and the Ruritan Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Overby and her parents.

Surviving are her children, Vaughn (Emma) Riley, Linda Riley McBurnett, and Alvon (Lee) Riley; grandchildren, Nicholas, Rose and Cameron Riley, Ashlee McBurnett and Stephanie Beck; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Card; brother, Jim Hall; aunt, Mary Alice Shipley; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Reece Bolton.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Sunday, March 6th at the funeral home with Rev. James Moore and Chaplain Dustin Henshaw officiating and visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, GA.
