Shirley Deloris Hitchings

Mrs. Hitchings was born in Athens, TN and raised in Riceville, TN. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed traveling and was currently employed as a housekeeper at Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hitchings; daughter, Sherry Ann Aglor; grandchildren, Christopher and Summer Hall; father, T. A. Crittenden; mother, Lora Mae Crittenden; sister, Martha Jo Frame; and brothers, Jackie A. and Charles C. Crittenden.

She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Loretta (David R.) Ramsey and Vickie Crittenden; brother, J.T. Crittenden; grandson, Joseph Aglor; nieces, Nancy Davis, Sandy Lambertino, Patricia Whaley, Amanda Rodriguez and Michelle Crittenden; and nephew, Randy Crittenden.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be at 1 PM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.

Burial will follow at Calhoun Baptist Church Cemetery, Calhoun, TN.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
