Mrs. Montgomery was born in Kilbourne, Illinois. She was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Dale Montgomery and daughter, Donna Jane Montgomery.
Surviving are her sons, Barry (Lynda) Montgomery of Stockbridge, GA, Scott (Sharon) Montgomery of Chattanooga and Tim Montgomery of Chattanooga; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and brother, Sanford Showalter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the funeral home with Dr. Jeremy Roberts officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
