I met Susan at Goldsmiths in Kapaa, Kauai. What a lovely and special person.  We became friends and shared good times and good laughter  in the all too brief times we were together. It was with shock and sadness that I learned of her passing.
My thoughts go out to her family and friends.  "See you 'on the other side,' my friend"!!

I am very sorry to hear that Susan has passed. I knew her briefly but spent a lot of time laughing and talking with her in the gift store in Lahaina. I will cherish the memories and pray for her eternal peace.

I have known Susan for over 30 years. To know her is to love her. We've been through a lot together including marriage and divorce. We lost touch when Susan lived in DC. I've been trying to find her for the past 10 years. I am heartbroken to learn she is gone and we were living so close again. I love you Susan and will continue to miss you forever. Delora I am so sorry for the loss of your children.

I met Susan when little 5 month-old Rock decided to pounce on me when I was relaxing at "Baby Beach" here on Kauai.  The fact that my response was pure joy and not annoyance delighted Susan.  We became fast friends and spent a lot of weekends on the beach with Hatchi and Rock.  She is one of the most beautiful, vibrant, and generous women I have ever met. We met Susan in 1996 while on vacation and she was one of our first and best friends during our early years here on Kauai.  We have such great and lasting memories of Susan: winning a costume contest together, walks with our dogs in Hanalei, her introducing us to Maui, visiting her during her time on Oahu's northshore.  
Lately it was a “bright spot in the day” when seeing Susan while running errands or just a quick “hello” at Goldsmiths.
We are so fortunate to have known Susan Cubine DeLozier.  Our time together was a true gift.

I use to meet Susan on the beach in Moloa'a  with my two jack russell's for play time with her jack, Roc.   I adored her humor and wit!   We would laugh at the dogs and laugh about our life on Kauai :)  She was sad to leave the island, and I was sad to see her and the dogs go........I am so blessed to have those light hearted memories of her.   Now she and her beloved Gus are back together!

Our friendship sprung from grief. Susan's canine love of her life Gus had just died. My sister Amber was murdered and I had to find a home for her beloved dog Hachie. I know in my heart Susan was heaven sent because she appeared like an Angel at my door, and she took that little guy home with her. Susan talked about her Mother and Fletcher often. When I met Fletcher I found him so kind that I knew Susan was sure to have the happiness she deserved. Her goodness, and her outstanding sense of humor, enhanced my life in the short time I spent with her before she moved to the mainland.  I am filled with gratitude to have known Susan. I love you dear friend.

We met Susan at Kauai Goldsmiths several years ago.  Her kind and gentle spirit made us feel very close to her.  She will be missed by us, but we are very blessed to have had her as our friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

We are so honored and grateful to have worked with Susan at Goldsmiths Kauai for four and a half years.  Her sparkle, compassion, humor and style inspired us and she became special friends with many of our customres.  We feel very blessed to have known her. Susan was the perfect Southern “touch” to Goldsmith's Kauai where I met her.  Over the years, Susan grew to be a sweet, dear friend.  I so enjoyed our visits and calls, and will miss you dearly, Susan. I was saddened to learn of Susan's untimely passing. I learned of Susan thru my friend Fletcher Hawkins with whom I work. You all are in my thoughts and prayers and know that God will comfort you.

What a sad, sad day this is for anyone who knew and loved Susan. She was my lovely Southern friend I met at Goldsmiths Kauai.  I am so shocked and heartbroken  she left us. All her Ohio friends are saddened and grieved by her passing. I am sure her transition to a sweeter place has been swift and sure. I will miss you dearly.
