Talmon L. Crane, 70, of Chattanooga passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at his home. He was a member of Kellys Ferry Church of God. Mr. Crane was retired from Combustion Engineering as a welder and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his brother, Yale Crane.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy L. Crane; daughter, Avious L. Goff (Roy) of Chattanooga; sons, David L. Crane (Tami) of Hixson, TN and Talmage Crane (Heather), Chattanooga, TN; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Smith (George) and Linda Nunley (Don); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. David Crane and the Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will be on Monday at 10 AM at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
