Tommy served his country for over 25 years in the United States Army and retired as a Sgt. Major. He was a member of several organizations including, the American Legion, the Woodmore Neighborhood Association, and the Shriners. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jimmie Sampley, and a brother, Billy Sampley.
Left behind to cherish Tommy’s memory are his wife of 46 years, Christine, son and caretaker, Tommy Sampley III, and his daughter, Jacquelyn Sampley.
A Celebration of Tommy’s Life will be held privately graveside in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Tommy’s memory to the American Diabetes Association. 5805 Lee Highway 204. Chattanooga, TN 37421
