Tommy “Sonny” Scoggins, 73, of Lookout Valley passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012. He was retired from Vincent Printing where he was affectionately known as “Nose”. Tommy had a love for camping and deer hunting.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Desma Scoggins; a son, Tommy Scoggins; a brother, Alvis “Bud” Scoggins, Jr.; parents, Alvis Scoggins, Sr. and Clara Scoggins.
Survivors include two sons, Brian Scoggins of Ringgold, GA and Jeff Scoggins of Rossville, GA; daughter-in-law, Shirley Scoggins; one granddaughter, Debra Scoggins of Chattanooga; one niece, Gloria Wilson and one nephew, Bob Scoggins, both of Alabama.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Monday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West with Randy Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Sunday and from 9AM to 12PM Monday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN 37412.
