Tony Papa, Jr., age 100, of Chattanooga died Sunday April 3, 2011. Mr. Papa was born March 2, 1911 in Viticuso, Italy to the late Tony Sr. and Giovina (DiFlorio) Papa. He was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude "Trudy" Papa.
Mr. Papa was active, until his death, as a realtor and businessman.
Survivors include two sons Tony (Tomoko) Papa and Jerry Papa and Millie Papa; grandchildren Maria (Michael) Haile, Andre (Jana) Papa, Christina (Sherman) Center, Marcus Papa and Jesse Papa; great grandchildren Caroline Center, Laura Center and Hamilton Center.
The Papa family would like to thank Mr. Papa’s caregivers Bonnie Faye, Robin and Sharyn for all their kindness and attention.
Private graveside services will be held.
