Ulf Rudiger Berge, 84, of Ooltewah, TN passed away Friday, September 30, 2016. He was born January 17, 1932 in Cochabamba, Bolivia. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and was retired from Combustion Engineering as a Civil Engineer. He was also the owner of Diana’s Hallmark and Baskin Robbins. Mr. Berge loved Jesus Christ and his Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Rosalia Gutiérrez Berge, his mother Diana Berge and his father, Rudiger Herbert Berge.
Survivors include three sons, Rudy Berge, Agustine (Noi) Berge and Michael (Beverly) Berge; daughter, Diana (Wade) Berge Ervin; sister, Ingrid Berge de Matienzo; grandchildren, Bonnie (Mike) Berge Mrstik, Charlie Berge, Ele Berge Myles (Shawna) Ervin and Wyatt Ervin; three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father Emmanuel Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10AM - 12PM Friday at the Church.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
