Vera, a native of Chattanooga, was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Lawrence West. They lived in Fayetteville, North Carolina
She is survived by sisters, Betty Horton and Glenda Cox, both of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
