Helen is survived by her husband, Clarence Hines of Chattanooga; step-son William T. (Ashley) Hines of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Nancy E. Sylar and Mary Jo Hughes, both of Chattanooga and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmore and Willie Mae Davis; three brothers, W.T. Davis, Bob Davis and Lewis Davis All of Chattanooga.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. C. Richard Mason officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM – 1 PM Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
