

A service will be held on Sunday September 19th at the Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road at 2 o’clock. Reverend William Fry III will officiate.
Mrs. Clark was born on November 13, 1958 in Rutherfordton, NC to David and Thelma Melton. She lived in Danville, VA and Gastonia, NC before moving to Chattanooga in 1992. She was very active in her community, her church and her children’s school functions. In 2005 she became co-owner of the Educational Outfitters franchise in Chattanooga.
She was an avid reader, she loved to travel, and she was very passionate about children. Her family wrote: “Wanda was the kindest soul that we have ever known. She always wore a smile on her face, no matter how bad she was hurting inside. We will miss her dearly, and we thank God for the wonderful moments that we got to share with her.”
Mrs. Clark is survived by her parents, David and Thelma Melton; her husband, John; daughter, Ashley; son, Jeremy Jones; son-in-law, Adam Baker; daughter-in-law, Kelly Chandler; sister, Sherrie Bailey; brother, Gary Melton; and her dogs Eli and Dixie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday September 18th at the Chattanooga Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm.
