I just viewed the photographs of Wanda and my "other family"--the Tennessee Moore's. These wonderful family photos convey so well the special family of Wanda and Tom Moore. I am part of the California Moore's--my sister Alice is married to Mike Moore. We all shared the same last name so I think that linked us up with Mike's family and parents so quickly. Both Wanda and Tom were very special and so special to each other.  Wanda was very unique and added quite an excitement to any Moore family event. I will miss her. I want to thank the family for putting together the photo gallery slideshow. For those of us not able to be there today, it brought back some sweet memories of happy family events I was able to share with Tom and Wanda and the Tennessee Moore's.  With love, Eileen Moore Koch

She will live on forever in your hearts. I enjoyed each opportunity I had to speak to Wanda. She loved the Lord and had a personal relationship with Him. She was a blessing to many people. She is with the Lord, praising Him.

Charles and I were in the Monday morning prayer group with Wanda. She brought her love of music into the group as a request would remind her of a song. Sometimes she sang it and sometimes so spoke the words. I was always amazed that she could remember so many. We will miss Wanda but know that we shall see her again in heaven.

We have lived next door to Mrs. Moore since August 27, 1975, and Mrs Moore had a strong belief in God and always talked about God and her family.

I have known Wanda for the past 55 years beginning back in my Boy Scout days with her son Michael and have maintained that relationship since. She will always be remembered as a lady who loved God, her family and her country. She was a servant and a prayer worrier. I will miss my long talks with her and the fact that she was always positive. No matter what her cercumstances, she was forever at peace. Wanda, I know your having a good time now with our Father. I'll see you on that side one day.

My memories of Wanda were as a worshipper and prayer warrior.  Wanda loved to sing and had such a heart for worship.  Her joy in the Lord was so evident as she sang.  She was also a dedicated prayer warrior and attended a weekly prayer service, even when it was hard for her to walk.  She was a dedicated and faithful servant and she will be greatly missed.

Miss Wanda was a dear lady, and my wife and I enjoyed sitting with her every Sunday at church. Her determination, independence, and love for her Lord and Saviour are inspiring. We will miss her on earth, but our hope is in heaven. I am glad to know that she is singing and dancing in glory with her beloved Tom.

I grew up living right next door to Tom and Wanda. One thing that was strongest about Wanda (and Tom) was their belief in God. I give my deepest condolences for the family and friends of Wanda.

She will be missed. She touched my life as having the gift of healing.  I will never forget her touching my jaw and the bleeding stopped. That was a LONG time ago.
