

Bill retired from Mississippi Structural Steel after 28 years of service. He also owned Bills BBQ in Dalton for 10 years.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Cleo Scott.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Georgia Buckner Hartman; children, Sue (Gary) Bradford, Beth (Eric) Beaird, Diane (Bob) Hicks, George (Tammy) Hartman; grandchildren, Leigh Ann (Jeremy) Futrell, Brian (Tabbitha) Lake, Stephanie (Tripp) Bettis, Ryan (Rhonda) Beagles, Brandon Hartman, Kristen (Derek) Stone and Brett Hartman; great-grandchildren, Ensley Futrell, Madeline Futrell, Erin Lake, Bryson Lake, Brinley Bettis, Bristol Bettis, Landry Beagles, Caden Hartman, Levi Stone and Noah Stone; sister-in-law, Vanetta (Jack) Perry.
The family would like to thank the 4 West Staff at Parkridge Hospital for their compassion and loving care shown to our father and our family.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road. There will be a private graveside service with grandsons Brian Lake, Brett Hartman, Brandon Hartman, Ryan Beagles, Tripp Bettis and Jeremy Futrell serving as pallbearers.
