Buddy L. Creveling

Born in Nescopeck, PA on September 6, 1932, Buddy was raised in Nescopeck and graduated from the former Nescopeck High School, Nescopeck; earned a two year degree at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, PA; and served his country in the United States Navy. Buddy retired from the Pocono Record in 1994 after 25 years of service.

Buddy was an active member of the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church, East Stroudsburg and the Pocono Lodge # 780 Free and Excepted Masons of Pennsylvania, Cresco, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Surviving are his loving wife of 33 years the former Nancy Doolittle Creveling, East Stroudsburg; daughters, Kim Jabbour of Stroudsburg; Virginia Giuliani and her husband Robert of Port St. Lucy, FL; Jane Hebard and her husband Perry of Candler, NC; son, Stephen Peters and his wife Joanne of Shawnee; sisters, Ella Eyer of Berwick; and Geraldine Eroh of Lansdale; grandchildren, Eric Giuliani, Stephen Hebard and his wife Holly, Amanda Hebard, Aaron Hill, Lauren Patrick and her husband Ryan, Abby Peters, Dan Peters, great grandchildren, Austin Patrick, Freyja and Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc., 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg with Rev Edmund Freeborn Pastor of East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church and Rev Samuel Huffard officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery, Prospect Street, East Stroudsburg.

A public visitation will be held on Friday May 24, 2013 at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a masonic service held at 7:30 P.M.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church, 55 Smith Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301
