Carmella L. VanBuskirk

She was born in East Stroudsburg, on July 19, 1938, a daughter of the late Daniel and Jenny (Stampone) Capone. Carmella was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Roseto. She enjoyed listening to country western music, being a cook and homemaker for her beloved children.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband of 32 years, Clayton M. VanBuskirk, who passed away in 1984.

Surviving are her sons, Daniel and Jason VanBuskirk, both of Brodheadsville, David VanBuskirk of Saylorsburg, and Joey VanBuskirk of Pittsburg; and a daughter, Lisa VanBuskirk also of Brodheadsville.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, with Rev. John W. Harding officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Eaton Cemetery, Mt. Eaton Road, Saylorsburg.

A public visitation will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg.
