I am shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Chris's death. We worked together many years, on the 'parks' tours, and Chris was so reliable and always had our best interests at heart. We leaned on him for his knowledge and expertise always. While we may find someone else to do his work, he will truly be irreplaceable. He was a unique spirit. I will miss him.

I am beyond heartbroken at the news of Chris's passing. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his family. Chris and I had known each other and worked together for close to 20 years. He was a great friend and a great person to work with and for. He had great patience and taught me a great deal. We always had a fun time whenever we were together, always sharing stories and making eachother laugh. He always greeted me with a smile and a bear hug. No matter how busy we would be, we would always find the time to talk about music, his family, his car etc. His friendship was everlasting and he will be forever missed. Can't believe my friend is gone though my love for him will never fade away.

I’m so sorry to hear about Chris. He was such a great guy I haven’t seen them in many years but we had some great times back in the day. I met him through two good friends Mark Hitt and Phil Balzano. I thought about Chris often through the years and always smile at the memories. I wish I had seen him in recent years. Unfortunately I didn’t But I always have those memories. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Christopher Catalano was my friend. We met when I was 13 or 14 years old. I used to hang out by 97th Street near the studio where one hand clap rehearsed. We remained friends for many many years. My daughter and I lived with him on Centerville street after my divorce. It was a very rough time in my life, and he was there to help me pick up the pieces . I have so many fond memories throughout the years. One of my favorite memories is when we went to see the Rolling Stones play at Shea Stadium. We drove there in my old Camaro, with cardboard license plates LOL. It was an amazing show . We had great seats on the floor and of course I had to stand on the chair to see because I was so short. We were having a great time enjoying the music, and all of a sudden We realized guitarist had changed so I climbed back up on the chair and lo and behold it was Eric Clapton he came out to play with them what a fantastic surprise we had. It rained that night we got soaked but the concert was amazing. And we made it all the way back home without getting any tickets LOL even with the cardboard license plates. The chances that we took back then, I’m surprise we made it through most of the things we’ve done in our youth.
Another funny story is when he split the seam of his pants at my wedding in front of oh, I don’t know, 150 people and had no underwear on! Wow we laughed about that for years.
What can I say, I’m saddened and heartbroken over this tragic news. My heart and prayers go out to his wife Stacia his son Christopher And his family. Rest peacefully my friend and know you will be missed by many. I will remember you always. Fly high with the Angels. Keep rocking!!!

Chris was an amazing human being with the kindest heart. When we played together in One Hand Clap it was some of the best years I can remember and he made it all happen. He was always a leader, but always like a big brother. You are missed.

Remembering how when we would hang out at the house, Big Chris never sat down, he was doing one thing or another, then to allow us some girl time he would go upstairs, and then we would hear him on his drums. Big Chris was one of the kindest souls I have ever met. Never did he have anything negative to say about anyone. He will be forever in the hearts of many.. that is what keeps a person immortal.. keeping his memory alive. I will be keeping young Christopher, Stasia and the rest of the family in my thoughts and prayers, and pray the Lord wraps his healing arms around the family.
