

Dolores grew up in central New Jersey where after high school she worked for such companies as Bell telephone, Burroughs and Lockheed Martin, as well as raising a family of 3 with her husband Robert.
Dolores was always very active in the community. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Washington Valley Fire company in Warren, NJ. A past president of the ladies auxiliary of the American Legion Post 261 in Piscataway, NJ and a past worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Rose bud chapter, Highland Park NJ. Dolores moved to PA when she and her husband Robert purchased the Columbia Inn in Columbia, NJ. After moving to PA she worked for Haband in East Stroudsburg, PA until her retirement. After her retirement she was a volunteer driver for Monroe County as well as participating at the Loder Senior Center. Dolores was also a member of the First Baptist Church of East Stroudsburg. She enjoyed her many crafts, ceramics, sewing and needle point to name a few. One of her favorite things to do was spend her time at the beach and/or boating. She also would never miss a family gathering, where she will be remembered for her games and beautifully hand crafted prizes.
She loved her family and friends and will be missed by many.
Dolores is preceded in death by her son Robert Ellis Mundy Jr. and husband Robert Ellis Mundy Sr., as well as her Brothers Bruce Tatum, Leonard Tatum and Lawrence Tatum. She is survived by her son Warren Glen Mundy and his wife Patricia Nichols Mundy of Eufaula, OK. Her daughter Leigh Ann Mundy-Fretz and her husband Gari Fretz of Bridgeton, NC. Her Brother Ronald Tatum and his wife Pamela of Venice, Florida and her sister Barbara Petruzziello of Hawley, PA. Also surviving are her Grand daughters Nicole Mundy, Melissa Gutekunst and her husband Tim, Leigh Marie Cronin and Christina Mundy. As well as Great Grandchildren Michael Love, Makenzie Siegfried, Jackson Gutekunst, Jase Gutekunst, Ava Cronin, Collette Cronin and Sebastian Cronin. Numerous nieces and nephews complete her loving family.
