Donald P. Sharp

Born in Jersey City, NJ on December 30, 1958, he was the son of Irene M (Simon) Sharp of Roselle Park, NJ; and the late Donald F. Sharp. Donald graduated from East Stroudsburg High School in 1977 and attended Northampton Community College, Bethlehem. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Following his honorable discharge he was employed in the construction field until obtaining a position in the sales office at Culligan Water in Monroe County.

Donald was a member of St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, Brodhead Ave, East Stroudsburg and the NRA of America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, including baseball and football and had a love for dogs.

Preceding him in death in addition to his father was his wife the former Ann May who passed away in 2001.

Surviving in addition to his mother are sisters, Nadine Sharp-Swanson of State College PA, and Lila Sharp-Loevsky of Roselle Park NJ, and a daughter, Jennifer Maher of Easton PA and 6 nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday October 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, Brodhead Ave, East Stroudsburg. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
