
She was born on August 1, 1933 in Hartford, CT. Edith was a bookkeeper and very astute in financial matters. She liked to give people advice and help with their problems. The light of her life was her granddaughters; she was always interested in everything they did and was very proud of them. Cooking, baking, reading and Mah Jong were her favorite pursuits. Consider yourself special if you received one of Edith’s delicious apple sour cream rings.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Murray Pergament.
Edith is survived by her husband of 19 years Christopher Morgan of Pocono Summit; daughter: Iris Schiller and her husband Fred and two granddaughters: Lindsey and Victoria, all of Grand Ledge, MI. Edith was also fortunate enough to have the support and close friendship of Anita, Lisa, Vicki and Violet.
The family wishes to express gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice and Liberty Nursing Rehabilitation, both of Allentown, for Edith’s care.
As per Edith’s wishes, funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
