Eneas J. Kelly

Eneas was born in the Bronx, NY on August 2, 1954, a son to the late Eneas J. and Alice (Moran) Kelly and graduated from Deer Park High School class of 1972. He immediately went to work as a pressman for the New York Daily News and later retired from the New York Times in 2009.

Mr. Kelly coached soft ball for the YMCA and was a huge New York Yankee fan. He took great joy in spending time with his family, loved to read and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are his wife Barbara (Taverna) Kelly, daughters: Regina Kelly-Brotherton and her husband Larry, of Bangor; Tara Kelly of East Stroudsburg; and Crystal Kelly of Scotrun; sisters: Sheila Bove, and her husband Anthony with whom he resided and Mary Bertrand and her husband Dominic of Saratoga Springs, NY; a brother: Kevin Kelly and his wife Sharon of Schroon Lake, NY; grandchildren Aneila and Akai Chanoine, and Evren Moore , nieces and nephews : Dan, Caitlin, Shanon, Kevin, Brian, Sarah, Nicholas, Vincent, Briana, Justin, Megan, Cassandra, Olivia, Joseph and Daniel.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, with Rev., David A. Cornell Pastor of the First Baptist Church in East Stroudsburg officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from Noon till 7:00 P.M.
