Born April 16, 1951 in Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Frank Delicati and the late Joan (VanLuvander) Tuthill.
Gary was a special, one-of-a-kind man. As a lifelong resident of Monroe County, Gary attended Stroudsburg High School and became a well-known business owner. He owned and operated Jammers Tae Kwon Do Studio in Stroudsburg. As a 3rd degree black belt, he taught and mentored young adults in self-defense and self-respect. Also, Gary was the State Constable of Monroe County for over 20 years, protecting and serving our community daily.
Gary loved cars, especially Chevy’s. He owned his fair share of hot rods and he often traveled to different car shows. He had a passion for family and friends; he loved cruising around town on his motorcycles. If you knew Gary, you knew that he loved the Steelers.
If you ever needed a helping hand or a word of advice, Gary was there. People feared the big “tough guy” exterior. Those who really knew him knew he was gentle and kind, therefore naming him, The Gentle Giant. He will always be remembered for his hard work, protection, and loyalty.
Gary was a man of great faith and today we celebrate his life as he travels to his eternal life among those who had gone before him. He will be sincerely missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
In addition to his parents, he had been preceded in death by his sisters: Gail Cunningham and Julie Zecchini.
