

He was born in East Stroudsburg on April 24, 2010, a son of Lindsey Baxter, and her companion Wayne LaBar with whom he resided and his father George Davis of East Stroudsburg. Giovanni was a vibrant, caring, loving little boy, who was always willing to give you a hug and share his smile. He had a comical sense of humor and was full of life and energy. Giovanni enjoyed Mickey Mouse, Sponge Bob Square Pants, and Skylanders. He loved his family and especially spending time with his big brother Jordan.
Surviving in addition to his parents is his brother, Jordan Ortiz, and sister, Alexis Baxter both of East Stroudsburg; maternal grandmother, Diane Baxter of Saylorsburg; and grandfather, James Franklin of East Stroudsburg; paternal grandmother, Bonnie (Hallet) Davis and grandfather William of Sicklerville, NJ; several aunts uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will begin on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 9:30 A.M. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg and continue at 11:00 A.M. in Wooddale United Methodist Church, 100 Barron Road East Stroudsburg, Rev. Nina Patton-Semerod officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
A public visitation will be held on Friday July 18, 2014 at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
