
He was in Little Rock Arkansas on March 17, 1944 a son of the late William and Sadie (Underwood) Jenkins. Glen was educated in the Little Rock, School system and served his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge he relocated to New Jersey where he was employed as a unionized painter for several commercial construction companies. After retiring, her relocated to the Canadensis section of Monroe County.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was his companion, Sharon M. Christian, who passed away on May 11, 2014 and a brother, Jake Jenkins.
Surviving is his son Glenn P. Jenkins Jr. and his wife Susan of Nanticoke; brother, William Jenkins and sister, Ellen Yanchik of Montrose; grandchildren Glenn P. Jenkins III of Nanticoke and Jessica Jenkins of Plymouth.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
