
Harold was born in Stroudsburg on January 16, 1938 a son to the late Chester and Francis (Fish) Miller. He graduated from Stroudsburg High School and served his county in the Army National Guard. Following his honorable discharge he returned home to Stroudsburg where he worked odd jobs until acquiring a janitorial position at the Best Western Hotel in Stroudsburg, retiring from that position in 1990 after many years of service.
While living in Stroudsburg he attended services at the Salvation Army in East Stroudsburg and enjoyed volunteering for the Salvation Army. Harold loved to shoot pool and play shuffleboard.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was his grandchildren: Sarah Domotor who passed away in June of 1981 and Matthew Nevil, who passed away in April of 1997.
Surviving is his loving wife of 51 years the former Roseanna (Kenny) Miller, Pen Argyl; daughters: Rose Marie Miller of East Stroudsburg, and Penny Miller of Pen Argyl; sons: Peter James Miller and his wife Debbie of Marshalls Creek, and John Paul Miller of Pen Argyl; sister, Linda Miller of Hazleton; grandchildren: Michael Domotor, Megan Nevil, and Margaret Ann Miller; great grandchildren: Gabrielle, Nikole, and Ealla, several cousins nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
