Our Sympathy goes out to Marion, Lorne and their families at this sad time.
Hilda was a great lady. I am truly greatful for the memories I have and the friendships I formed at Sun Set Hill. Everything At Sun Set Hill was so predictable, From Tuesday night horse racing, Wednesday and Saturday night square dancing,Friday morning baseball game and Sunday Lunch, excuse me "Dinner" of the best fried chicken! EXCEPT... when Hilda switched Spaghetti night with Fricadilly night and the help was sworn to secrecy, boy were we surprised! She will be greatly missed.

HIlda was a peaceful and strong woman, and quite the hard worker. She managed to keep all of us crazy teenagers in line at Sunset Hill, well most of us!. Hilda's late night visits to the Bee Hive to round up the staff were always a little scary and a little fun! We are so grateful to the Bachelder family for Sunset Hill and bringing so many families together. Ironically, as I was cleaning out one of my Dad's (Banjo Sam) bags yesterday I found the words to the Shnitzelbank song. Not sure why he carried it around but I am pretty sure he and Hilda are together with the others singing it about now. My sympathy to Marion and Lorne and all of the family. MaryAnn Albano Sigmund
