John W. Knapp Jr.

Born in Newburgh, NY on March 7, 1959, he was the son of John Sr. and the late Rosa (Alfonso) Knapp of East Stroudsburg. He was a glazer for most of his life and was employed by Mesko Glass Co. for several years before becoming self-employed. John enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He was raised in the Catholic Faith.

Surviving in addition to his father is his sister, Brenda Lee Kunze and her husband Horst, of Waterville NY; nephews Joseph and Jackie both of NY; and a son John James.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of John to the District 6 Firehouse, 60 Littleton Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
