I knew John as a great, eccentric man, he would saunter onto my screenroom at any time of the day, to say hi, see how my family was doing and always had a smile and was ready to help if you needed him. John was a happy go lucky person, strumming a guitar in front of a bonfire, or just being a genuinely nice guy to my family, friends and I. I send the deepest regards to his family and closest friends and he will be missed heavily by anyone he has touched with a handshake and a smile, and anyone he had a few minutes to talk to.

I met John the 1st day of 7th grade at Sacred Heart School in Glendale. He had just transferred to our school from another and didn't know anybody. He happened to sit right in front of me when he came into the classroom and we started talking and became instant friends. The photo attached is John and I two and 1/2 years ago when we were able to get together up in the Poconos while I was up visiting my children. We hung out had a few beers, took a walk down memory lane. I'm so grateful I had the opportunityto reconnect with him, and get caught up. He was a stand up guy and a talented musician. He will be missed for sure!

John was one of a kind and a very old dear friend. Recently I went up to the Poconos with a group of people and everyone went home on a Sunday, except me. I decided to stay a few extra days to give myself a vacation without kids. Suddenly I realized that I was alone in a resort where it seemed everyone went home. I got a bid scared..and then John popped into my head. I happen to have my lap top computer and I face timed him on Facebook and of course he picked up. And for the rest of the evening we hung out together computer to phone as he kept me company for the night. Everything happens for a reason and the next day we got together for lunch and a fun day at the casino. So blessed that I got to see him. I will miss him terribly. God Bless you John and God bless his family and friends who will mourn his loss for a long time to come....

I still hear you playing the banjo on the front lawn by granny's pine tree. Out of the blue and into the black, rest in peace cousin.
