Jose Antonio Franco

Born October 20th 1956 in Manhattan, New York and raised in the Bronx, he was the son of Jose Antonio Franco Sr. and Carmen Rosario Franco. He studied at the Manhattan High School of Art and Design in New York and enjoyed a long and successful career in advertising art. Jose had a gift of making all feel welcome through laughter. He loved to share his passions for the arts, music, and cars, especially with his grandchildren. His playful nature will be missed most by everyone.

Jose will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Vivian and his children, Anthony and his wife Crystal Franco, Catharine and her husband Joshua Gomez, and his youngest son Joseph Franco. Jose will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Lucas Franco, Joslynne Franco, Lilly Gomez, and Joshua Gomez Jr., by his devoted mother and father Carmen and Jose A. Franco Sr. and mother-in-law Carmen Rivera. Jose will also be sadly missed by his brothers Samuel Serrano Sr. and Orlando Franco and best friends Jose Soto and Michael Ortiz. Jose is preceded in death by his sister Catharine Franco Arzuaga.

A Celebration of Jose’s life will be held at a future time.
