Marian E. Wisegarver, 90, of East Stroudsburg passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 30, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Mauch Chunk, PA on July 21, 1922, she was a daughter to the late James and Bertha (Perry) Rohlfing. She graduated from Mauch Chunk High School in 1940. She worked for 25 years for the postal service in Minisink Hills Post office and in East Stroudsburg post office.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her loving husband Stanley “Bud” Wisegarver; brothers: William, Clayton, Floyd and Gene Rohlfing.

Surviving is a Son: John Wisegarver and his wife Bonny, of East Stroudsburg; a daughter: Marianne Repsher and her husband Barry, of Minisink Hills; 2 grandchildren: Richard Wisegarver and his wife Pamela, of East Stroudsburg, and Robert Wisegarver, of East Stroudsburg; a great granddaughter: Heather Wisegarver; and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held on May 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Prospect Cemetery, in East Stroudsburg, with Rev. Pastor Edmund Freeborn officiating.
