Plutalco Abreu

He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on June 28, 1956, a son of the late Eufurancia (Aragones) Abreu and Dimas Abreu of the Dominican Republic. Plutalco migrated to New York City and graduated from Franklyn High School, NYC, NY, and also served his country in the United States Air Force. More than 25 years ago he relocated to Monroe County and was last employed at Phoebe Nursing Home, in Allentown PA.

Plutalco enjoyed working with computers and loved spending time with his grandson.

Surviving in addition to his father is his wife of 34 years Nancy Abreu of East Stroudsburg; sons, Marco Abreu and his wife Marissa of Richmond, VA, and Miguel Abreu and his wife Kristina of Queens, NY; daughter, Melissa Abreu and her fiancée David of East Stroudsburg; brothers, Carlos Abreu and his wife Ester of Hamburg, and Franklin Abreu and his wife Alba; sister, Altagracia Abreu of Bronx, NY; grandson Xavier Aponte of East Stroudsburg.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg with Rev. Jamie Quinones father-in-law officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday June 19, 2014 from 1:00 P. M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
