

Born in Richmond, NY, Robert was lifelong resident of Stroudsburg, Monroe County. He was a Mason Contractor and Restorer for his company Robert Ascherl & Son. He served his country honorably in the army during the Koran War. He was a member of the Pocono Christian Center Church.
He was the son of German immigrants Anton Aschrl and Ottilie Wohs and he will be missed by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lois Cramer Ascherl of Stroudsburg; son, Tony Ascherl of Stroudsburg; daughters, Heidi Rogers of Stroudsburg and Vickie Rogers of Bethlehem, PA and five grandchildren, Joshua Ascherl of Colorado, Cody Ascherl of Mississippi, Justin Rogers of Stroudsburg, Dylan Rogers of Stroudsburg and Seth Rogers of Stroudsburg, PA
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Monday August 25, 2014 at Prospect Cemetery with Pastor John Magee as celebrant.
