Robert C. Kasper

Born on December 4, 1941 in Bronx, NY. He was a son to the late Carl and Mildred (Swedberg) Kasper. He attended Parsippany High School in the 60’s. Then he received training to be a machinist. He worked several years at Mortrench American and Patterson Kelly as a machinist and in his later years he worked as a janitor for the East Stroudsburg School District at Resica Elementary School.

Robert enjoyed ATV riding, snowmobiling and spending time with his family and friends. Robert was a Former Chief of Mine Hill Fire Department in Mine Hill, NJ. He was a volunteer fireman for over 20 years.

In addition to his loving wife Rose Marie (Southard) Kasper of 49 years; sons: Bob and his wife Maria Kasper of Budd Lake, NJ and Edward and his wife Tammy Kasper of East Stroudsburg; three grandchildren: Alex Kasper of Budd Lake, NJ, Sierra and Dakota Kasper of East Stroudsburg; a Brother: Ken Casper of Las Vegas, NV and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

The Funeral service will begin on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Washington Street East Stroudsburg. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc., from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and then again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
