
After a distinguished carrier as the Assistant Chief of Fisheries for the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wild Life, Bob enjoyed a lengthy retirement as a dedicated sports man and avid gardener.
Bob served in WWII as an Air Corps Clerk stationed in Hawaii, Guam and the Philippines. He also served as an Elder in the United Presbyterian Church and later a Deacon in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Hackettstown, NJ.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a brother Franklyn Williams
Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years the former Anne (Tickner) Williams, of Kunkletown, sons, Glen Williams and his wife Suk of Granville, OH, Douglas Williams and his wife Linda of Williamsport, Franklyn Williams of East Stroudsburg, and Bob Williams and his wife Sephanie, also of Williamsport; daughter, Suzanne Fischer and her husband George of Long Valley, NJ; sisters, Eunice York of Philadelphia, and June Tucker and her husband Albert of Toms River, NJ; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, who will remember him fondly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, with his pastor Thomas Foh pastor of the Pocono Orthodox Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ.
A public visitation will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and on Saturday March 29, 2014 from 9:30 until the time of the service at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg.
