

Born in East Stroudsburg on November 14, 1946 he was a son of the late Kenneth and Loretta (Smith) Fetherman and was educated in the Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg School systems. Thomas served his county by enlisting in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War earning a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal. Following his honorable discharge, Thomas was employed as a Bowling Mechanic for both Skylanes and Colonial Lanes for many years. He was most recently employed at Alcoa Howmet Dover Casting, Dover, NJ; where he retired in 2009.
Thomas was a member of the Roxbury Area Model Air Club, where he enjoyed flying model air planes. He also loved RC Car racing and Bowling.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a sister: Geraldine Smith.
Surviving is his wife Donna Fetherman of East Stroudsburg; stepdaughter: Kristine Harrison of Effort; stepson: Michael Wilhelm of York; sisters: Rose Fetherman of Tampa, FL, Donna Kasperski of East Stroudsburg, Barbara Davis of Youngtown, OH, Deborah Riera of East Stroudsburg, Janet Loring and her husband Allen of East Stroudsburg, Helen Santoro of Bushkill, and Lisa Fetherman of Effort; brother: Kenneth Fetherman and his wife Angela of East Stroudsburg; granddaughter: Amber Rose Harrison and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends may gather on Friday May 18, 2012 at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Following Thomas’s wishes burial at sea will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
