Val A. Lichtenstein Jr.

Val A. Lichtenstein Jr. 46, of East Stroudsburg, passed away suddenly on May 2, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Katherine (Larkin) and they would of celebrated 25 years of marriage on May 19, 2015.

Val was born on January 6, 1969 in Elizabeth, NJ and was the son of Valentine and Rose Marie (Tarantino) Lichtenstein.

He was a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School, and was employed for ABT auto body. Val played for the Geezer Hockey league out of Bethlehem Steele, and was also an East Stroudsburg Little League softball coach, avid hunter, a loving husband, and provider but mostly he was the “biggest fan of his children and loved to support them in all they did”.

In addition to his wife, Val is survived by his children Robert and Kaitlyn Lichtenstein of East Stroudsburg; mother; Rose Marie Lichtenstein of Stuart, Florida; and niece; Olivia Lichtenstein of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Preceding him in death are his father Valentine Lichtenstein, Brother; Brian Lichtenstein and nephew Mykel Englert.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home 27 Washington Street East Stroudsburg PA, 18301.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family on behalf of Robert and Kaitlyn for a college trust fund, 240 Harris St. Apt c8 East Stroudsburg PA, 18301.
