Wilbur Hay

Wilbur H Hay Jr, “Butch”, “WildWilly”, of Stroudsburg, PA, passed away at home on August 7, 2022 at the age of 77 years. He was born on September 22, 1944 to parents, Wilbur H Hay Sr and Nina Hay (Getz). He graduated from Stroudsburg High School, and worked as a Stroud township police officer.

Wilbur is preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Shirley Hay (Berger); parents, Wilbur H Hay Sr and Nina Hay (Getz); as well as his sister, Marion Rinker, and his grandson Johnathan Everitt. He is survived by his daughters, Marcel Johnston and Tamara Everitt and son-in-law Robert Feraker; grandkids Ashley Peters and her husband George Peters, Logan Kizer and Brandon Torres; and great grandchildren Kiley Peters and Tyler Peters; as well as brother, Robert Hay and sister, Sherry Reeves; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday August 20, 2022 at Stroudsburg United Methodist Church on Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 AM. Service will start at 11:00 AM followed by refreshments in the basement of the church.
