William Walter Burkhardt Jr.

Born on June 22, 1928, in Newark, NJ to the late William Walter Burkhardt Sr. and the late Mary Chesar.

William was a kind hearted, Generous, God-fearing man. William worked as a radiology technician at Pocono Medical Center from 1975-1991. Previous to PMC, he worked at The Washington Sanitarium and Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland. He always worked hard and devoted his life completely to God. William was an Elder at the Easton Seventh Day Adventist. He loved to Worship God, and he looked forward to the return of the second coming of Christ and dreamed of that glorious day. William was an amazing, spiritual man who will be sincerely missed by all.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his aunt Susan Schornstein.

In addition to his wife Margaret, William was survived by his children: William Burkhardt and his wife Donna of Reading; Sheryl Mosley-Kise and her husband Raymond Kise, of Brodheadsville; Melanie Burkhardt, of Manhatten, NY; Carolyn Kulp and her husband Wayne, of Barto; and Camille Lamberson and her husband Roy of Lake Harmony; His cousin: William Schornstein of The Oranges, NJ; His Grandchildren: Joey, Michael, Kristina, Jessie, Lee, Gage, Sarah, Ben, and Matthew. And his beloved Great- Grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 9am-11am at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. The Funeral Service led by Pastor Aaron of the Seventh-Day Adventist will begin at 9:30am at the funeral home. Burial of the cremated remains will follow at The Sand Hill Cemetery, Bushkill, PA

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Family at 147 Storm Ave, Saylorsburg, PA18353 to defer the costs of the funeral.
