William Walter

Bill resided at home with his loving parents who made sure he was happy and loved. Later in life, Bill lived at the Fitzmaurice Residential Services. For the past 9 years he lived at the Blue Shutters House of Keystone Community Resources where he enjoyed watching Westerns with his friends. He enjoyed listening to Elvis, Johnny Cash, and talking about his mom and dad. He loved his country, going to the Day Program on Genet Street, and growing up on his family farm. Bill was a member of the Shawnee Presbyterian Church.

The family would like to thank Fitzmaurice Residential Services, Keystone Community Resources, Allied Hospice, and the 4th floor and PCU nurses, doctors, and staff at Geisinger Community Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed Bill in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a one-hour visitation at Shawnee Presbyterian Church, Shawnee Church Road, Shawnee on Delaware, PA 18356, on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., with service and burial to follow.
