Bunny was born in Pettit, Texas on September 30, 1936 to Leonard Sr and Viola Tomlin. Albert joined the Army at the young age of 22, where he received the Medal of Good Conduct and Sharpshooter (Rifle). He owned and operated a night clubs, Bunny’s Place and Shangrila. For many years he worked in the produce department at Homeland and became president of the UFCW Local Union 1680. He also worked in construction and engineering in the OKC area.
He enjoyed going to Church, fishing, shopping, and spoiling his many Dobermans, including Duchess, Precious and Clementine. He was always eager to go “grab a bite to eat,” whether it was Jimmy’s Egg, Jason’s deli or the many years of going to Pepe’s. He loved playing bridge and watching OKC Thunder games. If the Thunder weren’t playing, he was watching CNN, MSNBC, anything but Fox News.
He is preceded in death by his parents, lifelong companion, David Miller, as well as two brothers Leonard Jr and Paul Sr and two sisters, Betty and Sylvia.
Bunny is survived in death by nephew Orville Pirraglia Sr and wife Ginny, nephew Paul Tomlin Jr, nieces Colletta McGregor and husband Steve, Colleen Schmitz and husband Mike, and his special great nieces Lori Pirraglia and Tina Hunt, and many other great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be nephews: Cory McGregor, Joe McGregor, Cameron Osborne, Clint Osborne, Beau Pirraglia Cochrane, Jarrod Gracy, Levi Gracy, and Lincoln McGregor.
Visitation will be held at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034, on September 27, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7500 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132, on September 28, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
