

A devoted family member, Cathy cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Her love for family was matched only by her passion for adventure and creativity.
Cathy had a zest for life that led her to explore the US through travel, always seeking new experiences and stories to share. She was a storm-chasing enthusiast, finding beauty and awe in nature’s raw power, and a talented stained-glass artist, creating breathtaking works that reflected her vibrant Choctaw spirit. Cathy’s love for the outdoors was evident in her appreciation for country living, where she found peace and joy in the simplicity of nature.
For 26 years, Cathy dedicated herself to serving the community as a trusted presence with the City of Guthrie. Her work in 911 emergency communications helped safeguard the lives of countless residents, while contributions in payroll and municipal utilities ensured the smooth operation of city services.Despite facing the challenges of myasthenia gravis with courage and grace,
Cathy never let this illness define her. She remained a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew her, showing that even in adversity, life could be lived fully and beautifully.
Cathy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, creativity, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Cathy is survived by her husband John Lewis; son Jerromy Jones and wife Kerri; daughter Sarah Peck and husband Tim; daughter Cara Henson and husband Dave; stepson Michael O’Connor and wife Kelly; stepson Todd Lewis and wife Noelle, daughter-in-law Tina Lewis; grandchildren Trent Jones, Cade Jones, Lane Jones, Megan Jones, Brandon Fitch, Maycie Mendenhall, Riley Allen, Dane Henson, Connor Lewis, Fletcher Lewis, Colton Lewis, Caleb Lewis; and great-grandchild Maliyah Mendenhall. Cathy is also survived by her brothers Robert and Chris Caldwell, and sister Robin Green.
Cathy was predeceased by parents Robert and Johnna Caldwell, and stepson Kelly Lewis.
