Play Tribute Movie

June 17, 1951, an angel was born onto earth to teach and guide those she grew within her womb, those who grew within her home and those who were lost and in need of love and acceptance. February 18, 2021 that same angel finished her journey here on earth among her family and returned home.

Dian was preceded in death by parents, Lyle & Cherry Harrold; brother, Howard Harrold; and nephew, Dutch Lesseg. Dian is survived by her husband Allan Heyland; and daughters: Sala Caldwell, Hali Caldwell, Samantha Jordan, Bridget Platt, Amber Van Vost, Nicole Potter as well as Keri and countless others she took into her home and into her heart. Her gaggle of grandchildren, with whom she fought hardest for in hopes of seeing them grow, include: Christian, Kyla, Matthew, Kelsey, Dylan, Corbin, Abigail, Toren, Sydney, Aspen, London, Maren, Kennedy, Jamie, Pippa and Kraig.

There are no words to write the perfect summary nor enough colors to paint the perfect picture of this amazing woman that has touched the lives of so many. To have known her was to love her. Should you seek light within the darkness, simply close your eyes and you will see her face- there to take your hand and lead you back to grace. She will be forever missed.

Dian was like my work mama. Down to earth, kind hearted, full of life and very compassionate. She looked our for me as a new employee at OU Medical Center and took her time to teach me lots of things as a new Resp Therapist then. She mentored and precepted me, and was always so ready to plan lunch outings outside of work. She will be missed, but heaven gained an Angel. Continue to rest in peace.

Dian was one beautiful soul. She always brought so much happiness and joy to my entire family! Dian will be very missed and always have a very special place in the Collier Family's heart. Forever. We love you, and already miss you dearly. One memory I would love to share about Dian. Growing up she always had me call her "Aunt Dian". She was more than just "Aunt Dian" to me. Even though she was just my cousin in real life. We have wonderful memories and I will cherish them forever. Rest in peace my sweet "Aunt Dian."- Stephanie Collier

What a wonderful woman. She would always show me love when I was around even though I was a boy around her daughters lol. She had opened arms for me and told me she thought of me like her kid. I will never forget her and the impact she had on me and many others. She was an angel on Earth and I know she wants us to celebrate her and that's what I will do. I will be helping several people today with whatever God puts in front of me in her name! I love you so much and you will be forever missed but never forgotten! ❤

Dian was the best mother to her children I have ever known and one of the all around best people. I remember how she encouraged me & Chuck to get married & supported me & taught me to be another mother to her daughters. She will be greatly missed.

My brothers and I grew up with Diana in our lives as one of the moms. Always smiling and willing to help. After we all grew up she was still a fixture in our lives for me I woke to her standing beside me in the the ICU at Ou medical. Just smiling saying” hello honey, how are you?” An angel on earth it was such a confort to know she was there and would be on the team to take care of me. Fly high mom!

Dian was truly one of the kindest and gentlest people I’ve met.
As a friend she never asked if I needed anything she simply and quietly stepped in and helped when she perceived a need and never wanted accolades.
Dian and I also worked together at Children’s Hospital for probably ten years.
She was much the same at work.
I don’t think I ever heard Dian complain at work.
She would fix what she could, ignore the negative and focus on the positive.
She and Alan made an awesome team.
I’m so sorry for your loss.

Dian was always kind and caring in every way. She was a fantastic mother and her relationship with Allan was very special. When my partner died in 1994, her & my brother’s visit to Detroit brought much comfort during my grief. Dian will be greatly missed but the many warm memories will always be cherished. Our love and comfort is sent to her entire family. Love, James Heyland & Jody Phelps
