Don M. Herrin

I met Don about 13 years ago through his friend, Jeff. When I first saw Don, I felt intimidation because his muscles were popping out of his workout clothes and he had his eye patch on. However, after talking to him for short while, I discovered he was not intimidating at all! He was sweet, kind, generous and wanted everyone around him to be happy. He was passionate about his beliefs. He had a big personality, big heart and big smile. He was welcoming and always willing to help. He helped me move into 4 different houses! He stored my furniture in his garage. He took care of my dog. He even insisted to give my a foot massage when I was working 10 hours a day on my feet in retail! Who does that? Don!!!!
Don, you will be missed. I hope that some day, I will get escorted to a party in heaven as you did. I want to see you there and say thank you for all you did for me and others !

I have known Don since he was a child, as long as I can remember Don has always been a very energetic person through out his whole life, always happy, positive, polite, and exciting, never a dull moment with don. Just a fun guy to be around. We are so sad to see him go so soon, I guess the angels wanted him there with them.
We will miss you. And miss your laughs.

My condolences to the Herrin family. I have known Don since Alamo Junior High. He always had an infectious smile and laugh. He was one of the funniest people I knew and would always want to make people laugh. Don was a loyal friend and he always loved to surround himself with his friends. Even though we lost touch after high school, I still considered Don to be a very close friend. May he rest in peace.
