He was born in Stephenville, TX on Sept. 1, 1924, the youngest child to Hardy and Rosa (Hughes) Butler. After the death of both parents, at the age of 5 he and his sisters and brothers were placed in the Baptist Children’s Home. After graduating from Britton High School, he met and married Norma Hadley on July 18, 1948. He retired from Brown Mfg. Co. of OKC where he was a metal fabricator.
He was preceded in death by both parents, brothers, Willard and Ulen Butler; sisters: Lotta Allison and Margaret Graves Calling.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Norma of the home; daughter, Nancy Butler of OKC; and son Michael Butler and wife Teresa of OKC.
