Emily Merline "Mert" Hunter, age 75 of Edmond, passed away October 28, 2011 with her loving family by her side. She was born August 24, 1936 in Warren, Arkansas to Doyle and Lena Kelly. Emily attended Pine Bluff High School. She was an excellent bowler and a 1960 League Champion. In Novmeber of 1956 she married, Donald L. Hunter.
Immediate survivors include, husband, Don Hunter; daughter, Dinah Hargrove; and two granddaughters, Melissa Burgard and Emily Lewis. Services will be 10am, Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City. Services entrusted to the care of Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond, Oklahoma.
